Project overview
Atrij Architects, a Zadar-based architecture studio, first partnered with Inity five years ago to build their original website. As the studio's portfolio, team, and reputation grew, that original site no longer reflected the level of work they were producing, the project showcase felt dated, there was no content hub to support their visibility, and the site gave visitors no easy way to start a real conversation about a project.
Atrij came back to Inity to rebuild the site from the ground up: a new visual direction, a modern portfolio structure, a blog built for ongoing content, and a lead-capture experience designed specifically for how architecture clients actually describe a project.
The engagement ran from late January to mid-May 2026, covering full design and WordPress development across the homepage, office/about page, projects portfolio, blog, contact, and a custom multi-step project-inquiry form, followed by content population and a live migration.
The result: a fully rebuilt site with a redesigned project portfolio, a functioning blog and content system, and a custom 4-step lead qualification form that routes prospective clients to relevant past projects before they even submit an inquiry.

Challenges
An outdated portfolio didn't match the quality of the work
Atrij's project list was one of their strongest assets, but the old site displayed it in a flat, traditional layout that gave visitors no real sense of scale or craft. It underrepresented five years of completed work.
No system for ongoing content
The studio had no blog or content structure in place, which meant no way to publish thought leadership, share project stories, or support long-term visibility for the brand.
Generic contact forms don't qualify architecture leads
A standard "name, email, message" contact form isn't built for how architecture inquiries actually work, clients need to describe project type, materials, timeline, and scope before a conversation is even useful.

Solution
A redesigned, grid-based project portfolio
The Projects page was rebuilt around a responsive grid with hover states and smooth transitions, replacing the traditional list view entirely. Each project got its own dedicated single-project template with a proper image gallery layout, giving the portfolio the visual weight the work deserved.
A blog built for tab-based content discovery
A new Blog section was added with category tab navigation, an archive layout, and a single-post template – giving Atrij a real content system for the first time, ready to support ongoing publishing.
A custom 4-step project inquiry form
Rather than a generic contact form, Inity designed and built a multi-step form: visitors choose project type (single building, complex, or modern style), primary materials, project details (timeline, room count, location), and finally their business ask — before landing on a summary that surfaces matching projects from Atrij's own portfolio and captures their contact details.
